30 MayTreament for intermittent strabismus (wandering eye)?

Lucy asked:

I have intermittent strabismus in my right eye. It causes my eye to wander slightly when I’m exceptionally tired or stressed. For example, I’ll turn to look at something & my right eye will take a split second longer to move around & focus along with my left eye. It’s infrequent, but it still bothers me a lot. At 23 years of age, I’ve been told by my doctors that it is too late to treat – it should have diagnosed & treated when I was still an infant.
My question is, are there any ways to treat it myself? Any eye exercises, or perhaps wearing a patch might help?
Any advice would be HUGELY appreciated!

29 MayCan dogs get pink eye (conjunctivitis) from kittens?

treasonlark asked:

I recently found a litter of kittens probably about 4-6 weeks old. The one female was having problems with her eyes and so I took her into the vet and was told she had chlamydia. The rest of the litter is fine but right now they’re all outside and I’d like to bring them in. I have two dogs and just wondered if they could catch either the chlamydia or the conjunctivitis from the kittens.

28 MayCan someone please diagnose me, I have all these symptoms and no one seems to know what is wrong?

thatsmydinosaur asked:

First of all, I had blood work done which came back normal other than being deficient in B12. I thought that was the cause of all the problems because within a few weeks of getting pumped with B12, I started feeling better. However, anytime I am sick all those symptoms seem to return and now I am starting to feel the symptoms again and they are getting worse.

I am 30 and female. I am very active and workout frequently during the week.
A lot of these symptoms are b12 deficiency symptoms, but my levels are going up, so why are the symptoms coming back.

22 MayWill my eye doctor charge me a fee for a visit concerning my contact lenses after the fitting?

i am a guy asked:

Well, I had my last follow-up today and I thought everything was good with my contacts and the OD released my precription to me. But when I got home, I had noticed that my right eye was slightly not as clear as my left eye when I had my contacts on. Will I be able to ask the eye doctor to check this problem out without charging a fee?

20 MayAccommodation, what really happens?

I know you believe that the EO muscles are involved, but the reality is that your eye was not measured before and after you used the method to see what changed. We don’t know if your lens size or position changed, cornea changed or axial length changed. No measures of structural rigidity were done. No measures of EO muscle strength, atrophy etc were done. The “muscle” feeling could be anything, you can’t know whether it is EO muscles you feel or something else.

20 MayClear Vision — No Effort

I will do what I suggest.

When you say “clear vision”, also say, glanced at the eye-chart (in bright light) and read 20/30, or
20/25 or 20/20.

The would help use understand your objective success. I know this is asking a lot — but I do it each day.

Current status:
20/20 in the office. At home (Snellen in dark corner) 20/30, and 20/25 When playing tennis: Extremely sharp vision
(subjective — if you wish.) So if that is what you mean, then we both agree, and I agree THAT is subjective.
