I Dont Need Glasses

I am looking to try the new procedure Wavefront. Appearantly they don’t do the “flap”, which consists of them lasering(cutting) half the circle of your eye and flapping it over. When I took my mom, it seemed like a totally uncomfortable place. It was completely full and noisy. I want to go somewhere where I can feel at peace and comfortable with the doctors. I want to know that the doctors have a great record and would be referred from those who have already gone to them. Thanks for your help!

i see spots in my vision like when you look on the tv well i see then clear at night and its hard for me to see and it suxz it some times scares me like i’m going to go blind but i try not to worry about it does anyone relate? i have one floater in my left eye but other that its those spots that bug me

I’ve never had the problem. I started noticing a slight lazyness a few months ago, and a kid recently asked me if I had a lazy eye after staring at me for a while.

There’s laser eye surgery and PRK, but they can be unreliable and there aren’t any guarantees, plus I’ve heard in some cases night vision was impaired slightly.

Is there anything currently being researched that’s any better? I know stem cells have been used to cure blindness in a few cases, but could they conceivably be used to cure short and long sightedness in the near future?

A couple months ago I started having “floaters” and “flashers” in my right eye. I went to the ER and found out I have a posterior vitreous detachment in that eye. A common condition but normally happens after the age of 40. The optamologist said the reason it probably happened early to me is due to the fact that I am very nearsighted in that eye. ( I have high anisometropia as well.) I was just wondeirng does anyone know of any other cases of a PVD happening this early in life?
