I will do what I suggest.
When you say “clear vision”, also say, glanced at the eye-chart (in bright light) and read 20/30, or
20/25 or 20/20.
The would help use understand your objective success. I know this is asking a lot — but I do it each day.
Current status:
20/20 in the office. At home (Snellen in dark corner) 20/30, and 20/25 When playing tennis: Extremely sharp vision
(subjective — if you wish.) So if that is what you mean, then we both agree, and I agree THAT is subjective.
Refractive STATE, using a $50 trial lens kit? a PROTECTIVE +1/2 diopter.
Jean> Me, I have been trying to put the card that is in my clear zone very close to me and the next card just above my clear zone. The shift from my clear to my blur zone should be quick and I should see the effect when I gaze at the
card outside my clear zone, if there is no effect so I am doing it wrong.
Otis> No, you are doing “right”. But I would also suggest this. Read the card THROUGH your +3 diopter lens. Push away until the card “just blurs”. After several of these “optical push-ups”, then look over the top of the +3′s at the
brighly lit Snellen — and report objectively what you read (line — 1/2 the letters correctly). We trust your competence, so I call this OBJECTIVE.
Jean> The results? From time to time I get clearer vision effortlessly.
Otis> And so do I with the above stated NORMAL variation.
Objective, science best,
