If you have got fed up of aging signs on your face then Rhytidectomy in India can prove as a less cost face contouring solution to you. Rhytidectomy or face lift surgery is a good option to remove old age wrinkles on cheeks, chin and around eye bags. The aging process of the face is mainly an issue of decreasing volumes, principally fat. Nonetheless, at some point it is more expedient, and indeed preferable, to perform a rhytidectomy, or a face-lift procedure. The basic concept of a face-lift is simply to elevate the tissues of the face in order to restore a more pleasant contour. As we age, the face undergoes predictable changes, so in general, as the volumes of fat, muscle, and bone decrease with age, there appears to be an excess of skin and muscle all these aging defects can be checked with a rhytidectomy. Indian clinical care and medical treatment facilities are earning good fame in foreign countries due to their low cost and excellent quality. Rhytidectomy in India is being done at the most efficient cosmetic surgery hospitals and clinics in India at Mumbai that have provided good results to foreign patients.

Rhytidectomy in India is provided at the most recognized cosmetic surgery centers to give best post recognized results. As a cosmetic surgery procedure of rhytidectomy is also well known as face lift surgery. If one is bothered by the signs of aging in your face, then a rhytidectomy may be right for you. Rhytidectomy is a surgical procedure to improve visible signs of aging in the face and neck. Rhytidectomy can be an effective way to improve appearance of face and boost self-confidence, but it is not for everyone. Patients whose skin is still relatively supple, and who are in good overall health, achieve the best results. face-lift normally takes from two to five hours to perform. If you are having a platysma, or neck lift, the surgery will last closer to 5 hours. Before the procedure of rhytidectomy begins, the surgeon will mark the incision sites and natural folds while you are upright with a Sharpie type marker. These incisions follow along the natural lines and creases by the ear, neck, wherever and whatever type of lift you have. After you receive anesthesia, the surgeon makea the required incisions. He then proceeds to excise either excess, loose skin, or suction or remove excess fat manually, or possibly atrophied muscle tissue. The surgeon will then lift your skin to a desired level. He may insert a drain, and either applies a tissue glue or more than likely sutures and staples. He will then apply a bulky dressing to your face and head to protect your wounds. He will keep the tissue in proper place during recovery and possibly as pressure to help with swelling and prohibit displacement. The recovery nurse will monitor your vital stats after the face-lift. The surgeon monitors the patient until he/she is ready to go home. This depends upon the individual, but may take up to two hours or more.

The cosmetic surgeons of Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai and Bangalore provide the best surgical expertise for a low cost rhytidectomy in India. The best medical care facilities in India are going to be provided to you when you avail medical tourism in India for a low cost cosmetic surgery procedure. Some patients might find that they can attain their goals with a less invasive procedure, such as a chemical peel or microdermabrasion instead of getting rhytidectomy in India. Others may be happier with their results if they combine rhytidectomy with other procedures, such as a neck lift or forehead lift. Patients who understand both the possibilities of a rhytidectomy and its limitations tend to be more pleased and satisfied with their post surgery results with their results. The precautions of Rhytidectomy should be discussed with the cosmetic surgeon before proceeding with it. Indian healthcare system is of international quality and the best surgical and clinical care is provided by Indian doctors.

A Facelift is an elegant surgical treatment designed to eliminate sagging skin and re-establish a more youthful appearance. After a Face Lift you will look natural and more youthful, not “lifted” or stretched as seen in some public figures and celebrities. Indeed, patients typically receive comments that they look younger, refreshed, rested, or they may even entertain questions regarding the loss of weight.

The main areas treated by a Face Lift are the neck, cheeks, and the areas around the jawline often referred to as the jowls. The Facelift procedure does not address concerns around the eyes and the eyebrows; however, if the patient desires these areas can be rejuvenated during the procedure.

The first step in the process is a face to face consultation. Here, an extensive and thorough evaluation of your goals is discussed and treatment options are individually designed. Depending on the extent of laxity and the patient’s concerns other procedures may be found to be more beneficial, such as extended microlift or Microlift. Please be aware that Facelifts, extended microlifts and Microlifts are far different than other similar sounding procedures marketed on television, radio, and print.

The Facelift Procedure in Detail

The Facelift procedure involves delicate camouflaged incisions. The subtle incisions are needed to gain access to the underlying tissues (or the so-called “muscle layer”) of the patients skin. It is these sagging weakened tissues that are repositioned and supported to achieve rejuvenation of the neck, jowl and cheek. After fully releasing and re-suspending the underlying tissues (“muscle layer”), the skin is meticulously re-draped into position without tension. Unwanted skin is removed as needed. Unfortunately, most advertised techniques do NOT properly or thoroughly release the underlying tissues (or “muscle layer”), and as a result the procedure takes less time and is advertised as such to entice prospective patients.

The Facelift surgery is well tolerated with minimal discomfort. The amount of bruising and swelling is minimized by techniques and experience in post-surgical management methods. Sutures are routinely removed by the end of one week, and patients are typically out in public with confidence in less than 2 weeks. A lot of aestheticians will also provide a complimentary make-up and skin care session to ease the transition into public.

This can be a life changing procedure so be sure to take your time and think about all your options, consult different doctors to see which one is best for you.

Most of us have a mole or two (or many more) and most of them stay concealed by clothing. But if you are like most other mole owners, the main question in your mind is probably about the best ways of removing moles from your face.

Moles on your face distract people you are talking to – you’ve probably noticed how their gaze wanders away from your eyes to focus on your mole.

So while having a mole on your face is probably not the worst thing that can happen to you, you will be far more comfortable when your face is mole free.

Removing moles from your face is no big deal. Whether you take the surgical option, or decide to remove your moles in the comfort and privacy of your home, treatments are usually quick, involve little pain, and should be scar free.

Regardless of how you choose to remove moles from your face or anywhere else, please get them checked by a competent doctor or dermatologist. Most moles are harmless blemishes, but some may be cancerous or potentially so, and the very dangerous skin cancer melanoma often resembles a mole. Any suspicious mole should be removed surgically, and such treatments should be covered by medical insurance.

First Thoughts About Facial Mole Removal.

Facial moles can occur anywherefrom the top of your forehead to your chin and your neck.

In most locations it comes down to personal choice whether you want a doctor or dermatologist to remove them, or whether you want to do it yourself.

But if you have a mole close to an eye or your lips, the surgical option may be preferable. Home remedies involve creams, pastes or oils which can burn or irritate sensitive skin and eyes, and the treatment could be worse than the problem.

Surgical Removal.

When done by a skilled surgeon, mole removal should be quick, permanent and scar free. It requires a fine balance between removing all the mole, which extends beneath the surface of the skin, and minimizing the development of a scar. It’s not always easy, and a low impact operation may result in regrowth of the mole if not all of it was removed the first time. Even the best of doctors may need to provide more than one treatment.

Surgical procedures are changing all the time, but there are six main options for mole removal, using five basic techniques – cutting, shaving, burning, freezing and laser surgery.

Cutting or excision is used with suspicious or cancerous moles, and involves removing both the mole or melanoma and some surrounding tissue under a local anesthetic. The operation is supported by pathological studies and usually there is no regrowth. The wound will be closed with stitches, which will have to be removed at a later visit. A thin scar will result, but shouldn’t be all that noticeable and will fade over a few months.

Smaller moles may be removed by plug biopsy – the mole is removed with a tool like a micro cookie cutter under anesthetic, and the wound closed usually with a single stitch. This procedure is usually used on normal moles, and scarring is minimal.

Shaving, burning (electrocautery) and laser surgery all work best on flatter moles, and are usually restricted to the surface layers of the skin. When well done they should not leave a scar, although temporary redness may result. They may require more than one visit, and because the treatment does not penetrate far into the skin, mole regrowth may occur in up to a quarter of cases.

Freezing, using liquid nitrogen, is about as effective. The mole is frozen, destroying it and leaving a temporary scab which will soon drop off. If freezing is restricted to the surface of the skin, and you can resist the temptation to pull the scab off before it’s ready, there should be no scarring.

All these techniques are suitable for moles anywhere on your face, but your doctor will advise you about your options.

Be prepared for some expense – several visits may be necessary, and unless the mole is cancerous the operation will be regarded as cosmetic surgery by your insurance company, and you will have to pay the full amount yourself.

Home Treatments.

There are numerous home remedies available, some using commercial creams you can buy from your drug store, department store or online, and others using natural products and plants which you may have around your home.

They are far cheaper than the surgical alternatives.

While many of these may be worth a try on concealed moles, a lot of the folk remedies are unproven, or can take a long time to work. Some, like sticking a banana skin over the mole, seem totally unsuitable for removing moles from your face.

So let’s leave out the doubtful methods.

That leaves us with two main forms of treatment – a few applications of some powerful products, or constant and regular treatments over a few days or weeks with less irritating plant or mineral ingredients.

Most commercial treatments are based on sap from plants which attacks and burns or dissolves the mole, after which it will drop off. These are very effective but should be used with care, and may not be appropriate for moles in sensitive places, such as near the eyes.

The best of these are probably Wart Mole Vanish and DermaTend. They involve one or two applications of a paste or ointment to the mole. After the paste has been in contact with the mole for 15 – 20 minutes it must be removed, otherwise normal skin can be damaged.

The mole will shrivel and change into a scab, which will drop off in a few days – bigger moles take longer. Provided directions are followed, there should be no scarring. But this is powerful stuff, and you may care to try it out on an inconspicuous mole before using it on your face.

You can find links to more information on these products at the end of this article.

More gentle treatments involve plant oils or less caustic substances. One very effective method combines castor oil and baking soda, applied three times a day until the mole drops off.

Sounds simple, but the key is in the treatment rather than the ingredients.

Looking younger is the mantra of Baby Boomers. This generation and the subsequent generations have greatly contributed to the gold-filled pockets of plastic surgeons everywhere. The Botox and Restylane craze has never been more evident than in today’s society. Aging just isn’t what it used to be; now there is a plethora of anti-aging products for every price range that make lots of promises. What happened to aging gracefully?

Over and over again, the phrase “non-invasive” is touted but having injections, whether they’re in your arm, your buttocks or your face is invasive. An injection requires a needle and when it is shoved into your skin, it is an invasion.

Yes, having an injection rather than a full-blown surgical procedure is non-surgical. There are many, many doctors and other practitioners who want consumers to believe that little doses of cadaver material or botulism injected in the forehead, the outer eye area and around the mouth, is not invasive but let’s tell it like it is.

On a recent network morning show, two women, moms in their 40’s, were willing to undergo “non-invasive procedures” to look younger. While the noted dermatologist took her black marker and began drawing on the faces to demonstrate how Botox and other material would be injected into certain areas to fill out and alleviate visible signs of aging, it was striking to see just how desperate these housewives have become. These injections would have cost at least $1500 – $2000 for a procedure that will have to be repeated at least twice during a one-year period of time if they want to maintain their results.

The quest for slowing down the aging process has become a multi-billion dollar business and in 2004, over 9 million cosmetic procedures were performed. Even though the effects of injections are gone in a short amount of time and plastic surgery requires updating, patients, particularly women, may have fallen into a trap believing that these procedures are the only avenue of preserving their looks.

There are other ways to turn back the clock without surgery or invasive injections and one is exercise, facial exercise. Exercising your face will restore the tone and firmness that you thought may have been lost forever. There is no recovery time, no risks of any type and you won’t end up with the face of a stranger.

Crow’s feet are a major concern because eyes look tired when these pesky little lines are apparent. The reason they form is because the forehead muscle has elongated due to gravity and life; when this happens, the muscles surrounding the eyes become compressed by the gravitational weight on them.

There is an easy remedy to alleviate the look of crow’s feet: Place the three middle fingers of each hand underneath each eye brow. Push the eyebrows up and slightly outward. Hold your eyebrows high and begin to use your forehead muscle to push down into your fingertips. (Make certain you are not creating lines between your eyebrows; push outward towards the temple area after pushing up) Count slowly to five. Remove your hands, take a deep breath, and again position your fingertips underneath your brows. Push the eyebrows up and slightly outward. Hold them high and begin to use your forehead muscle to push down into your fingertips. Count to ten – at count 7, close your eyes. (This action forces oxygenated blood to the eye lids) Remove your hands and repeat this two more times for a total of thirty-five seconds of exercise. If this exercise is performed once a day for six days in a row, in less than three weeks, the eyebrows will have lifted and crow’s feet will be less noticeable.

See how easy that was and you saved $3500! You can lift your entire face and neck with simple isometric/resistance exercises that require thirty five seconds for each movement. No pain, no anesthesia, no risk and great results – at home and in hardly any time at all.

Men and women are now living longer, and naturally want to look good for as long as they can. A face lift may make you look 10 years younger, but can cost as much as a new car, involves a stay in hospital and a subsequent recovery period. Cosmetic surgery can have amazing results, as long as you have a reputable surgeon and research all the pros and cons and decide if face lift surgery is for you. Cosmetic face lift surgery generally lasts around 7 years. There is no way to stop the ageing process, but there is a lot we can do to get younger and firmer looking skin. Facelift surgery is an operation which tightens the skin of the lower half of the face and neck, resulting in tighter, firmer skin, a more defined jawline and subsequently younger looking face. A face lift can reverse the ageing process which causes sagging cheeks, neck and jowls.

Facelift surgery involves an incision under the chin and behind the hairline in front of the ear, and along the inside of the hairline towards the back of the head, so that the skin and muscles around the lower face are tightened. A face lift can be combined with an eyebrow lift and eyelid surgery to ensure that the whole face is rejuvenated in a balanced way. It can takes weeks for full recovery, as there will be some swelling and bruising. You should expect to take at least 1 week of work after the surgery. Mini facelifts are less invasive, with recovery over a weekend. Some mini face lifts only involve tightening of the skin, so although they provide quick results with little down time, they do not last as long as a face lift where the connective tissues and muscles underneath the skin are also tightened. There are many websites providing cosmetic surgery information, with before and after photos of patients who have undergone face lift surgery. If you are thinking of having a face lift, do your research and make sure you are aware of all that is involved. Also consider non surgical facelifts and alternative therapies which can help you look years younger and boost your self confidence.

There are many alternatives to surgical facelifts for those not quite ready to go under the knife. Some of these can be applied at home, or in a beauty salon during your lunch hour, with no downtime to recover afterwards. The choice seems to be endless, anti ageing creams and lotions to reduce face and eye wrinkles, CACI for electronic stimulation of facial muscles, botox injections to remove lines caused by muscle contraction, dermal fillers to replace lost collagen in the lips and face. Vitamins, anti oxidants and nutritional supplements can also improve the skin and slow down the ageing process. Massage therapy, chemical skin peels, laser treatments to reduce fine lines and wrinkles, Threadlift face lifts, Thermage facelifts, and even acupuncture can all give a face lift effect. Many people do not want invasive procedures with needles and surgery under a general anaesthetic, so non-surgical face lifts offer a viable and affordable alternative to cosmetic surgery.

Many agree that there is no substitute for the traditional cosmetic face lift. A traditional face lift surgery tightens and repositions muscle and skin tissue, achieving dramatic results. While a traditional face lift procedure is unable to stop the signs of aging, it does have the ability to turn back time.

Cosmetic face lift techniques have evolved into highly individualized procedures. Additionally, the traditional face lift procedure is not suitable for everyone. It offers stunning results, but is also the most complicated and expensive option for facial rejuvenation. For many, less expensive procedures with minimal invasiveness and recovery time are an attractive alternative to the traditional face lift. Learn more about minimal invasiveness face lift procedures.

Minimal Invasiveness Procedures: Mid Face Lift Procedure

When skin begins to sag around the middle of the face, a person can look perpetually exhausted. The eyes may look hollow and have bags underneath, while the cheeks and nose lose definition. The mid face lift procedure addresses problem areas in the central area of the face to restore a more youthful glow.

If an endoscopic method is used, mid face lift surgery is a minimally invasive procedure. The endoscopic approach is performed with small incisions and a tiny camera to increase precision. A mid face lift targets specific problem areas, reducing the risk associated with a traditional cosmetic face lift. Recovery time is also reduced, usually about one week.

Minimal Invasiveness Procedures: Mini Face Lift Procedure

Also called the “weekend face lift,” a mini face lift is one of the least invasive forms of face lift surgery available. A mini face lift is best suited for patients experiencing moderate signs of aging and not yet in need of traditional face lift surgery.

A mini face lift often employs an endoscopic method as a means to narrow the focus on specific problem areas. The procedure corrects jowls, as well as, loose skin around the nose-to-mouth region and neck. Through tiny incisions and local anesthesia, patients can often return home once the procedure is complete. Recovery is reduced to a couple of days.

Results of a mini face lift are subtle and natural. Younger patients enjoy the benefits of a mini face lift as a pre-emptive defense against more advanced signs of aging. Cost for a mini face lift procedure ranges from $3,500 to $6,500.

Minimal Invasiveness Procedures: Thread Face Lift

A thread lift is another popular minimally invasive technique. The procedure requires tiny incisions and the surgeon uses surgical thread and barbed sutures to lift and tighten targeted problem areas. In some cases, no anesthesia is required. As a result, patients can actually give feedback on the face lift procedure as it takes place.

A thread face lift takes under two hours and recovery time is condensed to a few days. As with a mini face lift, thread lift results are more delicate. However, older patients with an adequate level of skin elasticity can also benefit from a thread face lift. Cost is about $2,000 to $6,000.

Locate a Qualified Cosmetic Surgeon

As stated earlier, a face lift procedure is tailored to the individual. Patients should seek the expertise of a qualified cosmetic plastic surgeon in order to develop an appropriate treatment plan. For more information about minimal invasiveness face lift procedures, go online to DocShop.com.

Recently, plastic surgeons have used other procedures other than the traditional facelift, to revitalize the appearance of the face. Compared to traditional facelift methods, other techniques offer patients the benefits of minimal scarring, quicker recovery time, no hair loss, and no visible incisions. The patient usually endures minimal pain.

People can organize their schedules around these less invasive techniques. For these new procedures, the cost can be far less, so more can afford the procedures. Some of the new procedures do not leave as many scars and do not drastically alter the appearance as much. Some non surgical methods can start at $1000 compared to $5000 for a traditional surgery.

Liquid Face Lift:

Many people would like to eliminate wrinkles but are afraid of surgery. Liquid face lifts do not carry the risk of general anesthesia and only take twenty minutes to complete.

The liquid is injected under the skin increasing the collagen production in the deeper layers of the skin. The surgeon uses very thin needles to inject these products within the facial tissue at the target site, as per the table below.

Depending on the patient’s needs, the treatment of the various injectables initially takes less than an hour without sedation, and the patient will be back to their regular routine the same day.

Mid Face Procedure:

A mid face lift addresses the mid-region of the face, and focuses on the areas around the nose, mouth and eyes. The procedure is for those interested in facial rejuvenation for the cheeks and eyelids. This elevates the cheek bone, creating fuller cheeks.

The doctor cuts incisions in the hair of the temple and endoscopes release and elevate the tissue. Many doctors cut a small incision inside the mouth to help in adequate elevation. Because the mid face lift is not as in-depth, the recovery time usually is shorter. There are few visible scars because no incisions are made on the facial skin. The procedure will restore a smooth, youthful look to the cheeks and eyelids.

MACS:

With the Minimal Access Cranial Suspension, the incisions are limited to the crease in front of the ears and the hairline above the ears. Since the area of skin freed from its underlying tissue is much smaller, the probability of bleeding is also much smaller. It has long-lasting results because the soft tissue from upper neck, jowls, and cheeks is elevated and then firmly anchored to the deep strong structures of the temples.

Because the cheeks are elevated and they no longer pull down on the lower eyelids, the eyes recover their youthful appearance. The MACS-Lift is ideal for the patient with sagging of the cheeks and early changes of neck.

Instead of a full facelift, there are other procedures that an individual can perform which create a youthful look. In addition, some patients may want to combine their surgery with other surgeries, such as liposuction, chin implants, removal of cheek fat pad, eyelid surgery or forehead, brow, or neck lift for further enhancement.

Signs of age, stress, environment and sun exposure are worn on the face. Luckily, the field of cosmetic surgery has developed a number of surgical methods to meet the particular needs of each patient. No longer is face lift surgery one-size-fits-all, rather it’s a focused, one of a kind technique, highly individualized for each person. Learn more about face lift surgery and create a custom face lift procedure for your needs.

Deep Plane Face Lift Procedure

Focusing on skin and muscle tissue, the deep plane face lift procedure offers stunning results. The deep plane lift, also referred to as the traditional face lift, is the choice cosmetic face lift among older patients experiencing the advanced signs of aging. A deep plane face lift addresses deep wrinkles and sagging skin around the cheeks, jaw line, chin and nose to mouth areas of the face. Incisions are made along the hairline, sometimes around the ears. Muscle and skin tissue is lifted and repositioned.

While it doesn’t halt the aging process, a deep plane face lift can rewind the clock. Results are long lasting, typically ten to 15 years. A later follow-up procedure is often less invasive than the first.

A deep plane face lifts provides the most stunning results. But it’s also a complicated procedure. It carries the highest risk and has the longest recovery time. Possible complications include adverse reaction to the anesthesia, scarring, bleeding and infection.

Recovery from a deep plane face lift may be somewhat uncomfortable, but is usually limited to swelling or bruising. Patients can usually return to normal activities roughly within two weeks. The cost for a deep plane face lift ranges between $6,000 and $25,000, depending on the complexity of the procedure

Mid Face Lift Procedure

A mid face lift concentrates on fatty deposits and sagging skin under the eyes, around the cheeks and nasolabial area. The procedure involves small incisions inside the mouth and along the hairline. Depending on the desired outcome, an endoscopic device may be used as a less invasive technique.

The outcome of a mid face lift is a more youthful appearance. Cheeks are lifted, full and bags around the eyes disappear. Recovery time for a mid face lift is about one week, depending on the intricacy of the procedure. Possible complications are similar to that of a deep plane lift, but minimized, as the procedure is much less invasive. Cost for a mid face lift is between $4,000 and $10,000.

Mini Face Lift

Younger patients in their 30s and 40s are best suited for a mini face lift. As the mini face lift is a preventative technique, those with minimal skin laxity will appreciate the subtle benefits. Incisions are very small and an endoscopic surgical method may be used. In endoscopic surgery, the cosmetic surgeon can minimize incision by locating specific problem areas through insertion of a tiny camera.

A mini face list is a safe stand-in for traditional cosmetic face lift surgery. Due to the nominal recovery time, it often bears the nickname “weekend face lift.” The cost for a mini face lift is also quite affordable, ranging from $3,500 to $6,500.

Thread Face Lift

Looking for another way to reduce the cost and risks associated with a deep plane face lift? A thread face lift is yet another option. Surgical threads are used to correct skin laxity around the jaw line, cheeks and chin. The procedure takes under two hours and is most suitable for patients who have loose skin that still has sufficient elasticity. Cost for a thread lift ranges between $2,000 and $6,000.

FaceLift

Ptosis, wrinkling or fine lines of the face is largely the result of aging, massive weight lost, actinic damage or genetic disorder acting singly or in combination with one another. The aged look of the face results

from gradual reduction of tissue volume.

To better analyze the face and changes that it sustained through time this is divided in 3 regions. The forehead is observe for dynamic and static transverse lines, ptosis of the brow and vertical glabellar lines between the brow. The mid face is noted for hallowing of the cheek, deep nasojugal, nasolabial and labiomental furrow, hooding of the upper eye lid skin and lower eyelid bags. While poor jaw line definition accompanied by laxity of the neck skin with vertical lines is often seen at the lower 3rd of the face.

This significant changes can be address by Rhytidectomy or commonly known as Facelift lift. There are 2 general types of face lift procedure. This are the open or surgical face lift and non surgical face lift which is also know as thread lift. Both the non-surgical and surgical face lift reduces the sagging skin, soften the deep nasolabial folds, smoothen the sagging skin of the neck and improve the definition of the jaw line. And thus restoring a youthful appearance. Face lift procedure addresses only sagging and atrophic facial tissues. It has no effect on the quality of facial skin. And consequently this is not a treatment for wrinkles and irregular pigmentation which can be address by resurfacing procedure.

This rejuvenation or restoration is done by re-suspending the soft tissue of the face with placation sutures and removing the excess, inelastic skin of the face. The resulting scar is oriented along the natural line of the face and neck making it very inconspicuous. This is concealed within the hairline and at the back of the ears. Majority of the patient that seek consult for facial rejuvenation often have simultaneous concern with the appearance of their eye lids. Most would complain of hooding and fullness of the upper eye lid skin with baggy lower eye lids. This can be deal with upper and lower blepharoplasty. Its very common that patient consulting for face lift procedure will also need a blephraoplasty surgery and vise versa. The result of both procedure are very complementary and maximize each other.

I often perform this as out patient procedure in our fully equip ambulatory surgical facility or patient may be admitted for a day or two if they prefer to have more comfort and relaxation immediately after the surgery. Weather the procedure will be performed as an Out-Patient or as a Hospital procedure, preoperative laboratory and medical clearance is required. This is done a day before the surgery at our clinic. The procedure will last for 3 to 4 hours under deep sedation with local anesthesia or general anesthesia. This can be performed simultaneously with other cosmetic procedure for patient with good physical health. Patients are required to wear tight dressing or compression garment for 1 to 2 week, and this will help the skin redrape to the muscle of the face, assist in controlling swelling and also prevent fluid to accumulation under the skin. There will be some swelling and mild bruising of the face that will last for several days to weeks. Sutures are usually removed 7 days after the surgery.

Any patient planning to have this procedure will require 10 to 14 days for the initial consultation, laboratory, medical clearance, surgery; follow up, suture removal and early recuperation. After this patient is safe to travel since wounds are healed.
